Wonder of the Seas Departs Florida - Best Cruise Destinations for Overnights
World’s largest cruise ship Wonder of the Seas departs Florida to begin inaugural European season
After completing her inaugural season in the Caribbean, the largest cruise ship in the world, Wonder of the Seas, departed Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida) on Wednesday, April 20, to the Mediterranean.
The RCI-Royal Caribbean ship is currently sailing a 14-night Transatlantic voyage with scheduled calls at some of the most popular Spanish destinations including Malaga (April 30), Cartagena (May 1), Valencia (May 2), Palma De Mallorca (May 3), ending the journey in Barcelona on May 4. During the repositioning cruise, Wonder OTS will spend 9 days at sea sailing across 6 time zones.
Once Wonder of the Seas arrives in the Mediterranean, she will start 7-night Western Mediterranean voyages featuring Barcelona and Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy) as turnaround ports.
The Mediterranean season of Wonder of the Seas will last through the end of October when the vessel will once again return to Florida.
